Northwestern Law Visitation Request

Visiting the Northwestern Law campus may be the most important thing you can do to help you decide whether our school is right for you. In order to make your visit to Northwestern Law as informative as possible, we invite you to take a tour of our building and visit one of our first-year or upper-level classes.

Tours: While fall and spring classes are in session, student-guided tours are given every Monday and Friday at 12:00 PM. View the Academic Calendar to see when classes are in session.

Class Visits: While prospective students may sit in on almost any class available at the Law School during the fall and spring semesters, we encourage students to visit traditional 1L courses to get the best sense of what the first year of law school will be like. Please consult the class schedule* to see what will be available the day of your visit. Recommended 1L courses are highlighted in yellow. As a courtesy, when you visit a class, we ask that you inform the professor beforehand that you are a visitor so you do not get called on by mistake.

*The following classes are NOT available for visiting: Accounting for Decision Makers; Advanced Electronic Legal Research; Advanced Legal Communication; Clinic; Communication and Legal Reasoning; Cross-Cultural Negotiation; Finance; Legal Analysis; Mathematical Methods for Management Decisions; Mergers and Acquisitions; Negotiation; Practicum; Trial Advocacy; Trial Team.

Registration is no longer available because the event has been cancelled.
